Ep. 092 | 12 Years Confined to a Couch: The Death of Lacey Fletcher
Lacey Fletcher, a 36-year-old woman from Louisiana, died in January 2022 after spending years confined to a couch in her parents’ home, where she suffered extreme neglect. Authorities say she was left sitting in the same position for so long that she developed severe medical complications, including malnutrition, infected wounds, and immobility. Her parents were later charged, accused of failing to provide basic care as Lacey slowly deteriorated and died.
