Ep 126-127 | The Unsolved Murder of Lindsay Buziak
In February 2008, 24-year-old Victoria, B.C. real estate agent Lindsay Buziak was stabbed to death inside a vacant home while showing it to a couple posing as prospective buyers, after a woman with an unplaceable accent had called her out of the blue days earlier. Her boyfriend waited outside during the appointment but arrived to find her already dead, with no forensic evidence left behind and no property stolen — details police believe point to experienced killers rather than an opportunistic crime. Nearly two decades later, theories range from a link to a major Alberta cocaine bust days before her murder to unproven internet speculation about her boyfriend's family (who have been formally cleared by police), and despite a renewed 2021 task force with FBI and RCMP assistance, the case remains unsolved.
